Great Gator Crossing is Gearing Up
On May 31st 2014, two Dan Gurney Alligator motorcycles set out on an epic 8-state, 2,400-mile pilgrimage from Atlanta to the Alligator factory – Dan Gurney's All American Racers in Santa Ana, California. And while we enjoy ourselves, we want to do good for others by raising funds for the Foundation for Women's Cancer, a national foundation dedicated to research, education and treatment of gynecological cancers.
Our ride – the Great Gator Crossing – is great because it is a unique combination of fun and philanthropy. A voyage of this distance has never been attempted on an Alligator – the revolutionary, limited edition, recumbent sportbike – let alone on two Alligators together. We are excited about seeing this great country from seats that are only 18 inches off the ground!
Plus, we know our ride will draw much-needed attention to gynecological oncology. A medical specialty sorely in need of both physicians and funding.
A documentary of the ride is being filmed from planning to finish, and proceeds from the sale and distribution of the documentary will also benefit the foundation – and continue to do so long after our epic ride is over.

About Great Gator Crossing:
The Great Gator Crossing was a idea thought up by two motorcycle riders. What started out as a simple ride, has turned into a full blown event.
